Dear Colleagues, As the Skull Base Society, we will once again be hosting our annual meeting, which continues the tradition of our previous gatherings and will bring together the disciplines of Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Radiology. This year, our meeting will be held at TOBB University of Economics and Technology in Ankara.
In this year’s program, which will focus on multidisciplinary approaches to the skull base, the latest developments in surgery, the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration, skull base anatomy, and imaging will be addressed. Under the umbrella of the Skull Base Society, you will have easy access to numerous educational services. From medical students seeking anatomy training to residents from all relevant specialties, from physicians outside the field who wish to gain knowledge about their patients to specialists working in skull base surgery, many of our colleagues will be able to receive guidance and support on various aspects of skull base medicine through our website.
To contribute to the training of our physicians, we will also facilitate opportunities for observers to participate in centers with professional skull base surgery teams. It will be our pleasure to have professionals from neurosurgery, otorhinolaryngology (ENT),ophthalmology, endocrinology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and plastic-reconstructive surgery, as well as medical and radiation oncologists and radiosurgery specialists, conduct their work under the umbrella of our society.
