Dear Colleagues, As the Skull Base Society, we will once again be hosting our annual meeting, which continues the tradition of our previous gatherings and will bring together the disciplines of Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Radiology. This year, our meeting will be held at TOBB University of Economics and Technology in Ankara.

In this year’s program, which will focus on multidisciplinary approaches to the skull base, the latest developments in surgery, the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration, skull base anatomy, and imaging will be addressed. At a time when knowledge grows through sharing and interdisciplinary communication is becoming increasingly important, we look forward to your valuable support and participation.

President of the Skull Base Society

The primary mission of our society is to research and develop diagnostic and therapeutic methods for skull base diseases on scientific platforms. In this direction, one of our main goals is to contribute to the training of physicians interested in the field through the meetings, symposia, and congresses we organize both nationally and internationally.

With the rapid advancement of modern medical technology, new possibilities have emerged for the diagnosis and treatment of skull base diseases. The professional members of our society have taken it upon themselves to transfer these up-to-date techniques and incorporate them into medical practice. By increasing the number of physicians treating skull base diseases in our country, we aim to address the growing demand that may arise in the future.

As the Skull Base Society, we strive to encourage scientific research, foster the interest of young physicians in the field, and raise awareness among patients. In today’s world, where access to information has become easier, we make extensive use of information technologies to help patients receive early diagnosis and treatment. Through interactive, education-oriented collaborations with international societies, our association represents Turkey in the best way possible and makes significant contributions to the medical community.

Under the umbrella of the Skull Base Society, you will have easy access to numerous educational services. From medical students seeking anatomy training to residents from all relevant specialties, from physicians outside the field who wish to gain knowledge about their patients to specialists working in skull base surgery, many of our colleagues will be able to receive guidance and support on various aspects of skull base medicine through our website.

To contribute to the training of our physicians, we will also facilitate opportunities for observers to participate in centers with professional skull base surgery teams.
